Kusabira Orange
A protein that is naturally present within the stony coral Fungia concinna. Kusabira Orange (KO) is utilized by scientists to:
  • help visualize thin layers of biological tissue in fluorescence microscopy.
  • "mark" certain endpoints in experiments (at which the orange light signals that endpoint was reached).
